Reception- Fine and Gross Motor Skills 2026

Reception have been working exceptionally hard on their handwriting skills! Each week, we complete four fine motor stations to build strength and control in our little fingers. Activities include Squiggle Me into a Writer, pegboards, name writing and Dough Disco.

We have also enjoyed Squiglet lessons, listening carefully to instructions to draw different objects. We then apply these skills to forming letters correctly, using our Read Write Inc. letter formation rhymes.
