To celebrate St. George's Day we played instruments to the story, moved to music like the different characters and re-enacted the story in our small world area. 

Reception thoroughly enjoyed following instructions to make yummy chocolate milkshakes! 

Reception have been out and about looking for signs of Spring! 

Today Reception celebrated the Hindu festival of Holi. We loved throwing the different coloured powders into the water! Some of us will be needing a soak in the bath tonight!! 

Reception are loving our new story - 'Superworm'. On Monday afternoon, we went on a worm hunt... Can you believe how many we found? 

We have loved Science Week so far! We learnt about irreversible changes by baking yummy chocolate muffins & we invited our grown ups in for a science themed stay & play. 

We loved meeting our baby ducklings for the first time! 

What a fabulous World Book Day we had!
