Year 4 really enjoyed celebrating the Arts and Culture we experienced during Artsmark Day. 

We completed lots of different arts activities, from visual arts, drama, dance and performing. 

We started of the day with our visual arts sesson. We #evolved our paining skills by creating a painted background using hexagon shapes and then monoprinted a bee drawing over the top. 

After that we listening to the classical song 'Flight of the Bumblebee's'. From this we developed a dance involving whole class sequences and smaller grouped sequences. The children #embraced the challenge and performed their dance to the whole school. 

Lastly, the children wrote their own riddle and shape poems based on Bee's. They #enjoyed performing their poems to the class using actions and expression.
