A busy week in Year 2

It was an action packed week in Year 2. We enjoyed the Mile a day in the sun on one of the only days it did not rain. In History we are learning about seaside holidays in the past and worked a group to sort the photos into photos from today and the past. In Maths we logged into Times Tables Rockstars for the first time. It was a huge hit! In English we are reading the story of the Lighthouse Keeper's lunch. We started off my learning some new vocabulary and seeing if we could match the words to their meanings. As part of our Changing Me theme, in Jigsaw, we looked at the human lifecycle and how we have changed from being a baby. We even looked at some photos of grandparents when they were a baby.
