Year 4 - Black History

Year 4 have well and truly #embraced Black History Month. 

Over the course of the month we looked at the stories of Nelson Mandela, Rosa Parks and Mary Seacole. The children loved talking about all the different stories and how the

y changed the world for the better. 

We then went on to learn about Anthony Joshua. The children then listened to his speech made in support of Black Lives Matter and were inspired to write their own to stand up to racism. Some extremely passionate speeches were created.
