Pre-school- 'It was a cold dark night'

This week we have been learning about Autumn. Our focus book was 'It was a cold dark night'. We had a box delivered to Preschool, the children had to guess what was inside. Inside the box was the the book, along with all the characters from the story. The children listened carefully to the story and joined in with repeated refrains. The children then created their very own map of the forest and retold the story of the hedgehog using the characters.
