Reception have been developing their observational skills by looking at the changes in ice.  They have observed the changes in the seasons as they recognised frost and ice in their outdoor area.  They worked cooperatively with their friends and discussed how the ice was changing throughout the day.  Colours were introduced to make changes more noticeable.

Reception talked about penguins and their life cycle and chose to sketch wonderful pictures of penguins.
