Year Five had a great time learning about the many inventions, from the Islamic Golden Age, which have since shaped the world. We studied Hasan Ibn al-Haytham, who studied optics and created the first concept for the camera obscurer. We then created our own working camera obscurers using boxes, tape and white paper - they worked brilliantly!
