Year 3 had an amazing day at Herd Farm.

In the morning, they delved into the mysteries of the Stone Age as they learnt about hunting and gathering, different artefacts and new ways of fishing.

They even had a go at building their own shelters.

In the afternoon, Year 3 explored the fascinating world of the Bronze Age and Iron Age. They learnt the wattle and daub technique for building houses and were invited into a real replica roundhouse.

They also got to find out about different Bronze Age and Iron Age artefacts, were amazed to discover the ancient art of making fire and took part in warrior training, #IronAge style
