This week has not only been about fun and adventure but also about gaining valuable life skills and independence.

Each activity has contributed to our personal growth and understanding of the world around us.

We have walked around and investigated our local area; we loved our visit to the park where we learned to pay attention to our surroundings, noticing details we might usually overlook. We have learned about road safety, budgeted using our own money, and used our social skills to interact with staff when paying for our purchases. We have navigated our way through the library while taking part in a treasure hunt, exploring books, and even had time to relax and enjoy a story time.
