Year 3 enjoyed some more work around the Zones of Regulation to help understand that all Zones are Okay. Even though all feelings are okay, not all actions are and they need to think about their behaviour. For example it's OK to feel overwhelmed in the Yellow Zone, but it's hurtful to say mean words, it's OK to feel angry in the Red Zone, but it's not safe to hit or shove someone. They discussed how everyone will have a different perspective to different situations and played corners to see how they could all be in a different zone for the same situation, e.g when running late for school and it is thunder and lightning outside our house.
