Year 3 were thrilled to welcome a special visitor from Delve into History, who brought World War II to life in an unforgettable workshop. We discovered what it was like to be a child during the war. We learned how to respond when the air raid sirens sounded and even sang the songs children would have used to stay cheerful while waiting for the bombing to end.
Exploring real WW2 artefacts helped us understand the past in a deeper way, and we were fascinated by the stories behind each item.
