Learning about the Vikings, we have been exploring and working out why they raided some places, traded with others and invaded others. We played a class game of raid, trade or invade where we had to make decisions on which countries to go to and then whether to raid, trade or invade. This was not always easy to decide and we certainly had to use our oracy skills to explain our thinking and try to convince others.
