Exciting news from Reception! We’ve received a very special delivery of duck eggs! The children played a game where they had to guess which animals hatched from eggs and which did not. After making their predictions, they learnt all about the wide range of animals that actually hatch from eggs. They were very surprised to discover just how many different animals begin life this way, they had to correct some of their predictions. Over the next two weeks, our little Delph Siders will be diving into the fascinating life cycle of ducks. In addition to watching our eggs hatch, we've been roleplaying in our vets area to practice caring for animals. Stay tuned as we learn more about these adorable creatures!
