Year 3 Science Fun!
Year 3 carried out a brilliant investigation today to see which soil absorbs the most water!
The children used a range of equipment, followed clear steps, and worked together to carry out a proper fair test. ✨
And the results…
They were very surprising — the soil that should have absorbed the most actually absorbed the least, and the one that should have absorbed the least absorbed the most! A complete opposite result — and a great reminder that science doesn’t always behave the way we think it will!
