Year 3 had a magical World Book Day! We began with the BBC Live Lesson meeting real authors, then headed straight into the Forbidden Forest at Hogwarts for an afternoon of character exploration and immersive reading.
Our oracy challenges were a huge hit — especially the back‑to‑back drawing task, where children described a character for their partner to sketch. We even used a bit of AI image creation to spark ideas and bring their descriptions to life!
A brilliant day full of creativity, imagination and a love of reading!
