This week, Year 4 made Christmas bracelets to sell at our annual Christmas fayre. They looked amazing and sold out very quickly! 

Y5 have been touring Manchester airport, Terminal 2, visiting Concorde and sitting on the flight deck of a retired DC-10! We’ve seen our forces learning in action, seeing how aircraft are streamlined and overcome air resistance and gravity to take off. What a day!

Year 6 had a great afternoon on their geography learning walk! They went to various locations in the local area, assessed them using an environmental quality index and made suggestions on how each location could be improved.

Year Five have been undertaking training on how to become our new playground leaders! We spent the day learning how to create playground games and how to resource them.

Our computing unit this term has been to work on mouse and keypad skills. We have enjoyed a number of apps and games to develop this, it has been lots of fun.

Week 4 at Stable Lives brought mounting the horses and riding around the arena! Also, overcoming fears, tears, proud moments and making the difference. We are the proudest teachers in the world! What an amazing experience! 

Year 1 have been busy in Maths this week! 

We have quickly mastered the additional symbol and used counters to write our own addition number sentences.

In this PE unit we have been learning to move in different ways and on different body parts on and off equipment. Great work everyone. 

Y5 have been enjoying. writing their independent pieces for The Highwayman. We've also been practising our oracy by reading our final pieces aloud.

Year 3 enjoyed some more work around the Zones of Regulation to help understand that all Zones are Okay. Even though all feelings are okay, not all actions are and they need to think about their behaviour. For example it's OK to feel overwhelmed in the Yellow Zone, but it's hurtful to say mean…
