Year 5 had a great morning at the Beacon using their map skills to locate physical and human geography.

In English we have been reading the story of the Night Pirates. We enjoyed acting out different parts of the story and imagining what the characters would say.

We have been learning the 7 different continents and finding them on a map.

In geography lessons we have been using atlases to identify countries, cities and towns on a map which helped us to label our own maps.
