Nursery

This afternoon we explored some Jungle poetry. The children listened for rhyming words and had the guess the animal. We then acted and danced the poem as a group. #Enjoy

What a fantastic day we have had celebrating Elmer’s birthday. We loved our Elmer story and the children created some lovely Artsmark pictures for a display in the school hall. It was great to see the children in multi coloured clothing and elephant ears!

REMINDER_ Tuesday 4th June Elmer’s 30th Birthday celebrations. As part of our Artsmark day we have planned to dress up as elephants or Elmer. (Grey or multicoloured clothes; don’t feel the need to buy costumes.)

Update- We have butterflies! The magical moment of emergence has happened and it happened really quickly. The butterflies are now going through the process of preparing their wings and when they are fully expanded they will be ready for flight and food!

A quick update to let you know that the caterpillars are still in their chyrsalis. I am hoping this will last longer so you are all able to meet the butterflies!

What a fantastic week we have had in the sun! The children have loved all of our Hungry Caterpillar activities and i am so proud of the how the little ones are doing. They have produced some fantastic mark making this week! Mrs Bentham is super proud! ⭐️

The children loved this weeks story! We enjoyed decorating biscuits just like Norman’s shell! 

Nursery have welcomed their very own caterpillars, we are super excited to see them grow! 

Last week the children loved the story ‘Snail Trail’. They enjoyed a range of activities and created some lovely representations of their very own snail picture.

What a lovely afternoon we had for our 'Stay & Play'. Thank you to all of the parents who were able to make it. It was great to catch up and lovely to you with your little ones in Nursery.
