Science week has been epic! The children have loved all of our different experiments and enjoyed finding out what happens when taking part in the different activities. 

Thank you to all of the parents who were able to make the Stay & Play. We loved having you in and joining in with our fun science activities. It was great to see the children enjoying having you in to explore! #Enjoy #Embrace #Evolve 

We have been busy creating towers using a range of materials. We discussed which materials were the best and why they worked well. The children talked about the tallest and shortest towers. They loved exploring the different materials especially the jelly cubes! 

Some children had their first swimming session today and what a fantastic job they did! I am so proud of how brave and confident they were in the water. They embraced the challenge and had lots of enjoyment doing it!

What a lovely day we have had celebrating our World Book Day! They children have been to the library, eaten honey sandwiches, had a visit from Mr Bee, created bee pictures and had a special story from Mrs Littler. We have all ENJOYED today!

For our bee themed Eco Day the children planted some flowers that bees like.

We have had a lovely day celebrating our World Book Day theme! Today we went on a bee adventure and the numbered bees lead us to the queen bee with a gift of honey.

Nursery have embraced moving like bees today. We have enjoyed the ‘Bee Bob’, ‘Waggle like a Bee’ and the ‘Flight of the Bumblebee’. They moved around collecting pollen from the flowers and waggled their way back to the bee hive! 

The children have loved creating their own bees for our special artsmark day. They have done a super job!

Nursery enjoyed going to the library this morning. We all listened to a story and then choseour own book to read. The children talked about the illustrations and what was happening in their story.
