Pre School have enjoyed celebrating Chinese New year this week. They have been retelling 'The Great Race: The story of the Chinese Zodiac', drawing their own tigers and tasting some yummy Chinese food #enjoy

Wow! What a lovely, fun-filled day reception have had at Imagine That! Lots of amazing experiences to capture the children’s interests. Memories made forever on their first school trip. 
 

Year 2 have been studying the work of Keith Haring in art this term, and today have used malleable materials to create figures inspired by his art! We loved trying to recreate the shapes he uses to make his art so dynamic!

Year 3 are loving their Monday mornings where they are working together towards a shared dream and goal. They have chosen who to design a garden for and working hard in their teams to design, budget and present their garden design.

This week we embraced, learning how to add by counting on. The children enjoyed working in pairs to choose a number card, roll the dice and count on. They loved recording their answers on their tables!

Year 3 are working hard to improve their reading fluency and comprehension. During whole class reading, we have been reading the story of 'Vlad and the Space Race'. Lots of great discussions about why events happened and we could express our opinions.

In Art this week, Year 4 #embraced drawing with ink. We explored using the ink by experimenting with different drawing materials, producing a variety of different lines.
