First Week in Pre-School!

Roald Dahl Day in Year 5
Year 5 have enjoyed the first couple of days of our Roald Dahl themed week! It was great to see many of them dress up as their favourite Roald Dahl character - I think many opted to be Charlie from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!
Year Six become illustrators!
Year Six became illustrators, today, when we studied Quentin Blake and his unique illustrative style! We copied his style and his illustration to mimic his work, before we attempt to draw ourselves using his style.
Chocolate Madness
What a start to our Charlie and the Chocolate Factory week! The children have #enjoyed dressing up as their favourite characters today and looking at parts of the book in more detail. We looked at the Chocolate Room and used our senses to start pulling ideas ready for out writing…
Year 3: First week

First Week back in Year 6!
Well it's like we've never been away! Y6 have done ALL SORTS in week one, including: loads of reading, spelling, maths, handwriting, artwork and even photography! We finished off the week by preparing for our Charlie and the Chocolate Factory week, in week two.

We have been so impressed with how well the children in Year 2 have settled back into school life!
First Week Back in Year 4!
Wow! Such an amazing start to Year 4 this week. The children have #enjoyed exploring what Year 4 has to offer. We have had a great few days and have #embraced all the changes around school perfectly.

Year 2 bubble enjoying their bubbles
Year 2 children have settled back to school so well into their "Year 2 bubble". It has been so nice to see them enjoy seeing their friends and having fun together. The children had great fun playing with the bubbles together in their new bubble.
