Programming using Scratch Jr

Programming was a big hit this afternoon as Year 2 were introduced to a new app, Scratch Jr. They loved learning how to move the cat around the screen. You can download the app in the App Store.

Jigsaw - Keeping Safe - Personal Touch

In our Jigsaw lesson we talked about how people communicate using touch. We came up with lots of ideas for touches we like such as a tap on the shoulder, a hug or a pat on the pack. There were also lots of touches that we didn’t like such as pushing, hitting and kicking.

Year 3 French Afternoon

Year 3 had a brilliant afternoon of French.  We learnt French words for fruits, sang a song and learnt how to say foods are good and bad for you. We also tasted croissants and French Brie. A great afternoon!
