Year 6 loved all of the workshops that were led by the African choir! #enjoy

Today the children looked at digital art and created ladybirds, teddy bears, plates of food and much more. The children thoroughly enjoyed using the different tools to make their images!

Year 4 have been working hard practising their spellings. This weeks spelling pattern is the suffix ‘ian’, so children have been practising words such as magician and optician with their partners.

Year 3 had an amazing day at Herd Farm.

This week, The Hangout made pizzas during their senses and tasting activity. They explored the smells and tastes of tomato purée, garlic powder, cheese, chilli powder and herbs. Some of the children added these to their pizzas. Great work everyone! 

Year 1 have been learning about the 7 continents. They located them and compared the distance with Europe, the North Pole and South Pole on the globes. They even logged into a live webcam at Antarctica.
