Year 3 - Science
Year 3 carried out an investigation into different surfaces and how they affect movement of a toy car. We also timed how long it took for the car to stop and measured the distances the card travelled past the end of the ramp.
Keeping Safe Online - Pop ups
In our Online Safety lesson the focus was on protecting devices and learning what to do if pop ups appeared. We learnt not to trust the statements and why we shouldn’t tap on pop ups. We then created our own pop up.

Year 4 Outdoor Adventure at the Beacon
Once again, Year 4 had a great time on this terms Outdoor Learning Adventure. This time we had a lovely walk up to the Beacon to work in a natural environment.

Week 5 - Safari Animals!
What a lovely week we have had! I am so lucky working with these little ones. They just love to learn and enjoy Nursery life! Safari week has been Epic full of fun activities.
Gymnastics
Year 2 have really enjoyed their gymnastics work this half term. They enjoyed developing their skills on the different apparatus. The ropes were extremely popular! Look at how high some us got to! We are looking forward to our final lesson next week.

During computing, we have been creating databases all about the solar system! We've included a range of facts such as orbital rotations times and temperatures!
Year 6 - Growth Mindset
Year Six had a lovely day learning all about Growth Mindset with Rachel and Nicola. We spent time understanding how special we all are and realised how many great qualities we have. #Evolve #wemakethedifference
Year 6 - Microorganisms
Year Six had a special visitor from Merchant Taylor's to teach us all about bacteria and micro-organisms! Mrs Blunt showed us some real-life bacteria and allowed us to make our own - using googly eyes, of course! #Enjoy #wemakethedifference
Music for Gerald the giraffe!
Nursery have loved creating their own piece of music for GerLd the giraffe to dance to. The children explored different sounds; how they can change sounds and copying a beat! They folllowed simple instructions and showed me super listening and attention skills.
