We have been learning about Gunner the dog who was helped to good health and went on to do great things!

Year 3 were very excited to visit the book bus, some couldn't decide which book to get! Decisions, decisions.

We labelled England and France on a map. We also labelled the 5 beaches of Normandy where D-Day took place.

Year 3 explored a remembrance themed picture, using their inference skills they answered questions about it.

Year 3 found it interesting learning about the artillery, weaponry, aviation, tanks and other equipment soldiers used during D-Day. We all had a go at sketching a chosen aircraft that was used during the attack.

Today the children visited the Book Bus. They enjoyed climbing aboard and looking at all the different books they had to offer.

We are really enjoying our learning challenges this week in year 1!

Yesterday year 1 had a wonderful time visiting the Book Bus, we couldn’t wait to read our exciting new books!
