We enjoyed starting the new half term with our first Athletics lesson.

We have been developing our running skills in athletics today.

Nursery have had a fun filled week doing lots of Halloween activities!

Today we had a visit from Jackie, she spoke to us about bullying, cyber bullying and hate crime. After that we created our own posters to reflect the messages that shed taught us.

This week we have been talking about how to keep safe online. We completed a questionnaire where we had to answer how we go online, what we watch and share and what we play and see.

Today we started a new half term of PE lessons which is athletics. Year 3 very much enjoyed the fast paced and very active lesson!

Today we had a visit from Jackie. She came to talk to us about the aspect of bullying. She taught us ways to help ourselves and others in the event of such thing. The children then created a poster about all the things they learned from the workshop.

The children have been looking at what is true and false. As we know the internet is a big place and not all the information out there is true. The children looked at a specific website and judged is reliability, looking at the facts they give and any false information they give.

We have been learning how to use positional language this week in maths. We have enjoyed ordering our Halloween figures using some of the language.

During this term, we have been looking at circuits and how to create them. The children have built on this knowledge by creating their own prototype of a buzzer game in out DT lessons. We really enjoyed our music lessons this week. We talked about the difference between sounds and music. We listened to some music and talked about how it made us feel. Our favourites were - The Lions Sleeps Tonight and Three Little Birds by Bob Marley. Check out the links to listen to them at…
