Year 3 loved their Computing lesson where they were introduced to programming the microbits. They had to write the code to make their microbit flash up with a heart. They then had a go at programming the microbit to write their name. They can't wait to learn more next week.

This half term year 3 have been looking at Striking & Fielding in their PE unit, they have looked at skills you would be using in a game of cricket.

This week our Diddy Delph Siders have been learning the nursery rhyme Miss Polly has a dolly and have become great doctors and nurses. They have made sure the dolls in Nursery are well looked after. 

This week Pre-School have had a very special delivery of caterpillars. We have learnt that caterpillars come from an egg and when they are strong they create a home for themselves called a chrysalis. Our caterpillar's are becoming super strong and we can't wait to see a chrysalis!

During Attention Autism we used skittles to experiment with and make a rainbow. We also had fun making our own. Great fun! 

Year 3 have been on a European adventure in Geography as they have been hard at work locating different European countries on the map.

Year 1 have been learning all about different families in Jigsaw. We discussed our own families and how other families can look very different. The children enjoyed asking each other questions and widening their understanding of the meaning 'family'.

Y5 have been studying the human lifecycle and how we can find trends in data. We used height data for males and females to complete line graphs which show general patterns of males being taller.
