Long Division in Year 6!
Year 6 have been smashing it in maths this week! They’ve been tackling division problems using the long division method. At times it has been tricky, but they’re a resilient bunch!

The Digestive System
As part of our new writing topic, Year 4 have been learning all about the digestive system. We talked about the different parts of the body used for digesting food and labelled them.

Y5 Investigating solutes
Year Five had a great time investigating solutes and whether solids are soluble or insoluble. We also investigated the saturation point of solutions by continually adding more solutes until it was clearly visible.
Reception- fine and gross motor skills
Reception have been working hard to develop their fine and gross motor skills. They enjoyed rolling tyres and helping dinosaurs to escape the ice. We have also been matching numerals to quantities and practising our cutting skills by creating our very own superhero characters.

Year 2 - Art - Etching Prints
Year 2 have been experimenting with perspectives of buildings on a street. We looked at buildings closer to us appearing larger and as they get further away the buildings appear smaller. We started to etch our streets onto printing foam, ready to print in our next session.
