Year 2 have had a fantastic start to Remembrance week.

We have had special visitors that came into school to tell us all about the war. We got to sit in the army vehicles, try on all of the army equipment and learnt how to march like a soldier.

We have made our own houses and set them on fire to show how fast the fire spread through London in 1666.

This week, Year 6 have been learning all about the naming system of Skelmersdale’s roads, which was part of the new town plans back in the 1960s!
