This week has been Children's Mental Health Week with the theme of My Voice Matters.
Year 3 enjoyed watching a short video and then thinking about their favourite things, before comparing it with their friends to see the similarities and differences.

This term we have been learning lots of different skills within our maths lessons. We have been looking at subitising, mass, capacity, exploring the composition of 6,7,8, pairs, doubles and length. Wow we have been busy!

Year 1 enjoyed participating in Mental health week this week, we learnt about the need to keep our minds and bodies healthy. After watching a short video we completed our own ‘hear my voice sheets’. 
 

Year 5 #embraced exploring graphite, looking at the marks it can create and exploring what happens when we add water. After exploring we created a small drawings, using both water and graphite. 
 

Reception #enjoyed exploring the work of Joan Miro, taking inspiration of shapes and composition. We created our own ‘Dinosaur and Me’ drawings, showing great imagination and pen control. 

In gymnastics year 6 have been working in groups to create sequences that shows synchronisation and canon.  At the end of the unit we looked at a well known TikTok routine to show this.

Our Diddy Delph Siders have worked as a team this week to build towers. We are seeing some fantastic friendships blossoming and some great sharing. 

This week Pre-School have been learning about The Teddy Bears Picnic. 

They have made their own teddy bears picnic with a basket and made sure each teddy bear had food and a drink. They have made their own sandwiches and written invitations to the picnic.

Y5 have been taking part in Safer Internet Day activities - with a focus on artificial intelligence and how it can impact our lives. We then discussed how apps and their algorithms can tailor content which persuades and influences us.
