Aspirations Week-Career research
Year Six mapped out their dream careers and talked about how we could make them happen. We then researched salary prospects in our chosen careers.
Year 6 Aspirations Week - Day 1
Day 1 of Aspirations week started brilliantly, with Mrs Gwyther's son, Oran, coming in to talk all about Criminology and Higher Education.
We asked fantastic questions and learnt lots about psychology and career paths after University.
Refugee Day
Year 6 really enjoyed Refugee Day, and made some fab comments during our discussion about refugees and asylum-seekers. We created some artwork based Gabi Jiminez’ Work and began writing a poem. Nice work, Y6!
Year 6 music
Check out Year 6 making our own composition using different pulses. Each group decided how to layer their piece.
Y6 learn about NETS
Year Six have been learning about NETS of 3D shapes today. We matched up shapes to their respective NET, then constructed some ourselves.

History in action!
Y6 have been combining our outdoor learning from earlier in the week with our history work.
We found small nooks around our classroom where our clay rune stones would look great in. We then experimented with different camera angles to achieve different effects. Take a look! #Enjoy
Outdoor Learning
Year Six had a blast in their outdoor learning this week by becoming photographers!
Who knew we had so many great photographers? Check out some of our snaps.
Writing in Norse Runes
Y6 took a well-earned break from SATs prep, today, by learning about Norse Runes. First, we had to match runes to our own alphabet.
Clay dragon eyes
Look at our amazing dragon eyes moulded with clay and some very careful Y6 hands!
Y6 St George’s Day activities
Y6 had a ball today by making dragon eyes with clay and learning a St George-themed dance! #Enjoy #wemakethedifference
