Year Five have been really enjoying our science topic - all about space and our solar system.
We've been learning about mass, gravitational pull and why the first four planets are rocky, while the furthest 4 are gas giants. Why do you think?

Y5 have been touring Manchester airport, Terminal 2, visiting Concorde and sitting on the flight deck of a retired DC-10! We’ve seen our forces learning in action, seeing how aircraft are streamlined and overcome air resistance and gravity to take off. What a day!

Year Five have been undertaking training on how to become our new playground leaders! We spent the day learning how to create playground games and how to resource them.
