In geography this week, Year 6 enjoyed created fingerposts that could stand outside Delph Side to mark the direction and distance to various areas in Skelmersdale including the Beacon and the Town Centre!

This week, Year 6 have been learning all about the naming system of Skelmersdale’s roads, which was part of the new town plans back in the 1960s!

In history, Year 6 have been learning all about the history of Skelmersdale! Using what they’ve learnt, they wrote scripts, filmed videos and edited them together into promotional videos for the residents of Merseryside in the 1960s!
