The Hangout

The Hangout are happy to be back in school after the summer holiday. This week we have enjoyed reading ‘Have you filled a bucket today?.’ Children in The Hangout are very good at being bucket fillers to each other and others around school.

The Hangout have loved all the visitors this week. We have enjoyed spending time finding out about different jobs and having a go at some. We were very lucky to have visits from

In The Hangout, we love our daily Attention Autism sessions and have recently started Stage 3 along with Stage 1 and 2.

• Stage 1: The Bucket to Focus Attention.
• Stage 2: The Attention Builder.
• Stage 3: The Interactive Game - Turn-Taking and Shifting Attention.

In The Hangout we have been practising our cutlery skills using play dough.

Over the next few weeks, The Hangout are looking after caterpillars and will be watching how they transform from tiny caterpillars into beautiful butterflies. 
 

In The Hangout we love our weekly sensory sessions. During these sessions we explore different foods with our senses. This week we explored piccalilli, mint sauce, cucumber and pickled onion monster much. 

Children in The Hangout love their weekly PE Plus sessions. During these sessions they develop their fundamental skills. They enjoy improving their jumping, hopping, running and balancing skills.
