The Hangout children and staff are happy to be back and into a routine. We have enjoyed getting stuck in the past two days. We have been working hard with reading, handwriting, art, plus lots more, including socialising with our friends.

Our new computing unit is ‘Design.’ Our first task involved designing an animal shelter and our second involved designing a treehouse. Lots of fun was had, the children were very creative in their choice during the design process.

The Hangout have been learning ordinal numbers. We started with running races and ordering people, we then moved onto objects e.g. car races, animals queuing up, etc and ended with ordering events.
