Year Six started their latest writing topic by identifying features of a newspaper report. Finding the shape of the text - we discussed the layout and order of a newspaper and which features a reporter would use to 'hook' in their reader.

A busy Friday in Year 3

Pre School- What comes from an egg?

Year 4 - Designing a Book Sleeve

This week, Year 5 #evolved their toolbelt designs and starting making paper prototypes. We looked at the size, shape and how we would need to put together our final pieces.
Reception Outdoor Learning
Reception have been searching for signs of spring. They were excited to find tiny worms when they moved rocks but were very careful and aware that they should not remove them from their habitat. So, Reception made their own worm habitat with the help of some long spaghetti and soil.

Year Six Evolution
Year Six #evolved as we learnt about evolution of mockingbirds and finches. We tested different tools as bird bills and investigated their effectiveness at gathering food.
