Year 5 and 6 had a great time climbing trees and building dens at Forest School this afternoon! #enjoy

Year 1 love to find the pulse whilst exploring the genre of Hip Hop music. We are really enjoying our song ‘Hey You’ and have some great rappers in the class! 
Today we used the glockenspiels and focused on the C note. It was great to see how they focused to play at the right time.

Year 2 had a fantastic time investigating different materials this week!

Year 5 #enjoyed improving our drawing through memory and observation. We worked on our Mark-marking and continuous line to draw houses of different size and shape. 

This week, Year 4 discussed how spending time online can effect us physically and emotionally. We looked at how that sometimes it is OK, depending on the activity. The children sorted through scenarios to see if it was OK or too long. 

This week we have been learning about our differences. We have been exploring new words to describe ourselves and how we might be feeling. We have used lots of natural resources to create portraits of ourselves. We have also been talking about our classroom rules and school values, Mr Potato head…

Year 3 have #embraced today’s art lesson, focusing on different types of line. We looked at a new artist who’s work is built up of different lines, showing that limes can be simple but effective. 

In our first Online Safety lesson, we talked about the good things we use technology for and how going online makes us feel. We then looked at how we could have a healthy balanced lifestyle by thinking about the positive and negative effects of activities, both online and offline. W know that too…
