What a great English lesson today. We are going to be writing the story of Little Red Reading Hood who loves book, so we enjoyed making reading dens in class. We then chilled out and read different books. In the words of Blake, "The best English lesson ever"

Year Six are getting into their Maths Whizz - brushing up on those helpful maths skills :)

Year Six really enjoyed learning about orienteering and solving problems - using communication skills and team work!

Poppy is back in school!!!
We loved spending time playing with her in the sun. We can't wait till she comes into class for one of our lessons.

Throughout English and Science, Year 4 have been exploring the Water Cycle. We were blown away with the facts that we found, especially the fact that we drink the same waters that the dinosaurs did! A great topic to #enjoy! 

This week we have been learning all about looking after our teeth and the role of the dentist.

What a wonderful week we have had!
 

The children have enjoyed our story, ‘Snail Trail’ looking at the adventures of a slimy snail. 
We explored mark making, colours and patterns to recreate our own snail shell creation and enjoyed retelling the story using repeated refrains and actions.

Wow! What a week we’ve had in Year 3, we’ve certainly been kept busy.  
Super handwriting taking place focusing on our presentation, letter formation and sizing. 
Terrific times tables tests and TT Rockstars gaming. PE on the field in the sun and a lovely welcome back to Poppy.

Year 2 are working so hard to improve their handwriting and make sure letters are the correct sizes. We have been learning lots of new joins.

Reading, reading, reading! Year 3 have worked well with lots of reading this week. They have read in groups and as a whole class. 

Year 4 are loving the new way of working in PE. Lots of smiles all round!
