Nursery - Christmas Stories

Year 1 Christmas Assembly!
What a wonderful Christmas assembly we had! It was lovely for you all to see your amazing children take part in their first Christmas performance. We are extremely proud of them all. The children embraced every moment and really enjoyed learning the different songs and dances.

Reception took on a new challenge today and had amazing results. They listened to, and understood step by step instructions for drawing their snowmen.

Year 3 French Day - Les Animaux
Year 3 have really enjoyed their second French Day learning the name of 10 animals in French. We have learnt to read, write and speak in French and enjoyed lots of games. We particularly enjoyed some games on the iPads and chromebooks.
Year 4 - Je Me Présente
Year 4 have really #embraced today’s French Day, through speaking, reading and writing! We carried on our learning of how to present ourselves, saying our name, age and where we live. We also furthered our learning by starting to learn the names for our family members too. Great enthusiasm Year 4!…
Year Six French Day 2
Year Six continued their brilliant day, by learning how to tell the time - to the hour - in French. We then combined our morning's work and said which times we study each subject.
We even did our usual handwriting practise, but using our new French vocabulary.
Year Six French Day 1
Year Six have really enjoyed French Day, and have worked incredibly hard - learning the names of school subjects in French, and then discussing which they like, love, dislike and hate...in French!
French Day in Year 5!
Year 5 loved French Day! They learnt how to say the names of different animals and how to use them in sentences! #enjoy #embrace #evolve
Year 3 - Making Castles
Year 3 #enjoyed making their prototype castles today. We designed our castles using the features that we had learned, and developed some super prototypes our of Cardboard and tape.
Year Six Blood!
Year Six had a blast in Science - learning about the components of blood! We used a concoction of marshmallows, sprinkles, cheerios and juices to mix all of the components together.
We chatted about the function of each component and how vital they are for survival.
Year 5 - Viking Visitor!
Year 5 had a special visitor this afternoon… a Viking! They learnt all about life as a Viking, worked as a tribe and played Viking games! #enjoy #embrace #evolve
