What a wonderful first week back we have had!
We welcomed some lovely new additions to our Pre-School family who have settled in straight away. Our little ones have enjoyed starting our ‘In the Garden’ topic. We loved our story ‘Flora’s Flowers’ and learnt about some of the signs of Spring.

Maths Whizz and TT Rockstars
Year 2 are loving using our new Chromebooks in class to work on their maths skills. Maths Whizz are TT Rockstars are a huge success!

Year Six have really enjoyed learning about how light travels and how we can redirect light using reflective surfaces.
Year 3 PE - Summer Term
Year 3 loved, loved, loved being back in PE lessons. This half term PE is orienteering.

Year 5 - Dissecting Flowering Plants!
Year 5 really enjoyed dissecting flowering plants in Science this afternoon! #enjoy
Year 4 - Making Slime
Year 4 #enjoyed learning about States of Matter yesterday. We make a slime that was a solid and also a liquid! The children loved our investigation and was a great way to kick start our new topic.
Year 1 - Plants
Year 1 have really enjoyed the start of their Plants topic in Science! We had a really close look at some beautiful Chrysanthemums before dissecting them to discover their structure! Using our key words, we sorted the plant into 4 different parts.
It's good to be back!
Year 2 loved being back in school and seeing all their friends together. We enjoyed our first PE lesson of the term and also running some laps of the Mile a Day track with our friends, in the sun. We were also busy in English and on Maths Whizz.
