Remembrance Day in Y5!
We have been learning about the Battle of Britain in Y5! We focussed specifically on the spitfire planes that the RAF used to defend Britain during World War 2. We have started to put together our spitfire sculpture - keep posted for further updates!

Y6 Remembrance - Day 1
Y6 began their Holocaust learning by studying the events which unfolded, and their significance to Jewish persecution. We're handling a very tricky subject with great maturity.
Gun Powder Plot Day

Mapping the route to the park
Year 2 revisited their walk to the park by looking at the route on Google Maps. We learnt about compass directions and found out we walked south. We then drew a map of the route using some map symbols.

Sorting animals into groups in Y1!
In Science we have been looking at all sorts of animals, identifying them and sorting them into groups. We have discussed the words 'mammals', 'reptiles' and 'fish' to begin with whilst looking at what makes these animals similar or different. Y1 were shocked to find out that we were mammals…
