The Hangout guys created their own design for their gingerbread person’s T-shirt. They talked about identifying similarities between people in their class and discussed ways in which they are the same as their friends.

Year 2 have been working on their new unit of work in PE 'Dribbling, Kicking & Hitting'. Within this lesson children used footballs to demonstrate this.

Year 3 loved being in their pyjamas, onesies and dressing gowns for a cosy day of learning. It was perfect attire for learning and they got stuck into some tests and an experience day about the Amazon Rainforest.

Year 4 #enjoyed coming into school dressed in red to celebrate Red Nose Day!

Y5 have been organising a text and summarising paragraphs by matching them to the correct subheadings.

Year 1 #enjoyed drawing and painting their landscapes today. Inspired by Claude Monet, we used watercolour paints, showing great paintbrush control and color choices. 

Year 3 #enjoyed reading about The Easter Story in our children’s Bibles. We read the stories leading up to Good Friday, learning about what happened on Palm Sunday and Maundy Thursday.

This year World Book Day blew us all away in DelphSide. Year 2 had a fantastic time dressing up as their favourite characters and in their snuggly pyjamas. They had so much fun and really #enjoyed the day. So much creativity this year, might be hard to beat next year! #Embrace

This week in our Jigsaw lesson, The Hangout have been learning about different types of medicines that can help us. We also had a good chat about medicine safety. The children were really sensible. Great work.
