Y1 writing
Y1 have worked exceptionally hard this week during their English lessons. They have generated their own ideas, created their own storyboards and they are now in the process of writing their very first story!
Year 3 - RE - Christianity - Jesus heals a man born blind.
Year 3 #enjoyed discussing miracles, looking at the Bible story Jesus heals a man born blind. We discussed what miracles are and if we believe that Jesus really could perform miracles.
Year 3 Bring a Mascot to school day
Year 3 loved reaching their first target in out Passport to Privilege. They chose to Bring a Mascot into school. A great effort to have reached 750 points so quickly. Our next target is 1200 points to wear our PE kit to school.
Year 5 - Art - Tonal Drawing
Today, Year 5 have #evolved their drawing skills, exploring tonal shades. We looked further at the different values of graphite, using them to draw a detailed leaf from observation.
Year 5 Islamic Inventions
Year 5 had a blast in their first lesson on their new history topic: The Golden Age of Islam - a study of a non-European civilisation.

Year 2 - Art - Exploring the work of Keith Haring
Year 2 #enjoyed looking at the work of Keith Haring. We looked at the characteristics of his work - his use of line, colour and form - and created an exploration page in our sketchbooks.
Year 2 Science - Healthy and Unhealthy foods

Y5 Faith Week
This week, Year Five have been very lucky and had 2 brilliant visitors who have come to speak about their Sikh and Hindi faith. We learnt an awful lot and asked superb questions to learn about new customs, traditions and religious acts of worship.
