Year Five Plan Their Writing
Year Five worked super hard today - planning their independent writing on The Invention of Hugo Cabret.
Wimbledon Dance!
This half term, Year 4 have been #enjoying some Wimbledon themed dance lessons! They have been creating movements for all parts of the game including serving, hitting and even resting!
Year 5 - Art - Tonal Leaf Drawings
Year 5 have been #evolving their drawings skills, by upleveling their tonal drawings skills. We looked at the values we can get from our drawings pencils by applying different types of pressure. When then had a go at transferring our skills to transform our leaf line drawings.
The Hangout - Dough Disco
In The Hangout we take part in daily dough disco sessions. The children love doing this to the song Happy, it develops and strengthens the muscles in our fingers.
Year 6 - Art - Continuous Line Drawing
Year 6 have been #evolving their drawing skills during our new topic, and learning new techniques. We have been developing our continuous line drawings and working on size, shape and detail.
Year 4 - Division Fun!
Year 4 have #embraced using the place value counters for division this morning. Maths We partitioned the digits and even exchanged!
A busy Year 3 afternoon - Light
Such a productive afternoon in Year 3. The children loved being introduced to coding using Scratch before another light investigation in Science.
Nursery 2s - Snowy days!
It's snowed! For some of our diddy delph-Siders, this is the first time they had experienced a snowy day and they loved it! They stayed out for as long as they could before they almost turned into snowpeople! Then, they came into the warmth to defrost with some gross motor activities.
Year 3 loved it outside in the snow
Year 3 had a blast out at playtime and lunchtime today in the snow! Just enough for some snowballs, little snowmen and even a snow angel!!! Let's hope for more snow overnight.
