The Hangout

In our art lesson, we used different media to explore and invent different lines. We used the media in different ways to create lines. We pressed hard and light, used the side of the media to see what happened. We had fun doing this in our sketchbooks. Great work everyone! 
 

The children have enjoyed the first two weeks back at school, we have been taking part in lots of different activities and enjoying being back into routines with our friends. 

This half term our PE lessons will focus on ball skills. Today’s lesson we started with moving around the hall in different ways and then using a ball, throwing and catching it. We then rolled the ball over a beanbag and balanced a ballon our hands.

The Hangout guys had a great time at Twinkle House. They enjoyed the interactive sensory experience in the immersive room and burnt off lots of energy in the soft play area.

We went on a Bear Hunt with a twist! We didn't have an ordinary walk, we went on a sensory walk...Uh oh, we had to go THROUGH IT!!! 

We were so excited to see the creatures from Zoo Lab and to be able to interact with them!

Their visit provided us with hands-on experiences, to learn about different species, their habitats and their behaviours.

Wow! The Hangout absolutely loved visiting the local fire station. What a great experience for our children. They were amazed to see and use some of the equipment. Some even saying they want to be a firefighter. 

The Hangout visited the Concourse, we first went to the pirate ship to burn off some energy and for a sensory break, this supported us with climbing, crawling, sliding and having fun with our peers.  We then went to Home Bargain to buy an item of choice. It was hard to choose something with the…
