Reception followed instructions for making Owl Toast.

There were many opportunities for exploration and building confidence without adult support. The children were so happy and proud of their creations, and even happier when they got to eat their owl Toast!

Year 2 had an absolute blast at Imagine That today! The science workshops were an incredible way to spend STEM week! 

Our third and final STEM challenge was to create a maze to navigate the Bee-Bots through!
The children worked in teams to complete the challenge. They had to decide on the directions and then and the sequence to code the Bee-Bot.

As well as getting a chance to explore, Year 3 children enjoyed a number of different workshops and got to back slime ( a huge hit!! ), never melting snow, bath bombs and magnets. They also enjoyed a Science workshop which was fascinating.

Year 4 have loved today’s STEM activity! We have been creating box girder bridges using slabs of chocolate and welding them together by melting the sides of the slabs together. It did get rather sticky!

Year 5 really enjoyed their taster day at Our Lady Queen of Peace high school!
