Year 1 Geography- seasons!
We had a great start to out Geography topic by looking at the different seasons and their weather patterns. The children enjoyed sorting a range of clothes/objects we would need in each season. We then completed some lovely seasonal drawings and some super writing about them.

Maths in Year 5
Year 5 have been working hard to solve addition problems today in maths! #embrace
Year 3 - Printing Fossils
Year 3 #evolved their printing skills even further today, turning their drawings into amazing, creative prints. We worked on our observational skills by drawing the fossils we could see. We then used safe print to engrave our drawings ready to print.
Year 4 - Stop-Motion Animation!
Year 4 have loved creating their stop-motion animations today. We created a simple animations to learn the skills and instructions. Year 4 #embraced the challenge and #evolved their computing skills.
Year Six PE
Year Six, once again, really enjoyed their outdoor PE session - filled with orienteering, team-building and trust exercises.

Reception class had a fun time rolling their ball towards a target. It was a bit tricky but they persevered and got lots of points, then they joined in a speedy game of ‘cups and saucers’.

Year Six create micro-organisms!
Year Six had a blast learning about micro-organisms and the various types of microbes around us!
They particularly enjoyed creating and naming their own microbe, and designing them using typical shape features of bacterium, viruses and fungi.
Year 4 - Design Technology
Year 4 have #enjoyed exploring existing products in DT this week. We had a look at different types of torches, looking at their aesthetic features and how they function.
