Year Six Fungi Investigation
Year Six have been investigation how certain conditions can promote rapid fungi growth. We have selected our conditions and have observed the changes that have occurred in our slices of bread...with some interesting and yucky results!
Comic Book Creations taking shape
Year 3 are loving learning how to make their own comics. This week we learnt how to add in narration, speech bubbles, thought bubbles and words. Now we know how to use all the tools, we have started to design our own comic books. Hopefully have some finished comics by next week.
Year 2 - Architecture Inspired Art

Year Six Computing
Year Six have been developing their programming skills using Scratch. We started by developing a stage, then a sprite to create the beginnings of a Space Invaders game!
History Club
We have some enthusiastic historians at DS! We've looked at British military medals and started designing our own using clay. We found that a lot of them are cross-shaped, to emphasise Britain's Christian heritage and the cross as a symbol of hope, peace and courage.
