This week, Year 4 have started work on their Cardboard sculptures. They #embraced the task by cutting out their shapes to create their patterns and designs.

This week, Year 4 have been #embracing working with their partners in our spelling sessions.
Year 3 - Features of a Castle
Year 3 really #enjoyed exploring the features of castles, and finding the names for the features. We then #embraced our designing skills, and created a simple design for our future castles.
Year 3 - #Enjoying Printing
This week, Year 3 have finished off their final piece of Fossil artwork, bringing all of their drawing and printing skills together. We #enjoyed getting messy and seeing how our finished pieces look.
Year 4 - Exploring Mosaics
Today Year 4 #embraced learning about Roman Mosaics, and #enjoyed exploring and experimenting with different types of papers to create a page in our sketchbook.
Year 5 - Exploring Designing Skills
Year 5 have #evolved their simple designs by exploring with a variety of colouring materials. Their designs have been transformed, and display lots of patterns and shape.
Year 4 - Stockport Air Raid Shelter
Year 4 have been blown away by the Air Raid Shelters today. We have totally #embraced being an evacuee during WW2 and learned lots about that it was like during that time.
Year 4 - Parliament Week
Today, Year 4 #embraced Parliament week by understanding its importance and the decisions that take place there. We took a tour of the House of Commons and watched snippets of today’s debates. We then went on to research around climates changes ready for tomorrow’s debate!
Year 4 - Halloween Disco!
Year 4 had a blast at our Halloween disco today! They #enjoyed dancing away to the disco hits and showing off their fabulous costumes!
Year 4 - Arts and Culture day
Year 4 are #enjoying being exposed to the arts and cultural activities on offer today. We looked at the artist Umberto Boccioni, looking at his movement artwork. We then created collages and paintings of fireworks, using him as inspiration, to create our own movement pieces.
